INDEED (Employer Experience Team via Nelson Cash)

Our team was hired as external support to improve Indeed’s employer experience. We provided design mocks for suggested navigation, a new homepage site map, and stylized versions of product screenshots, as they published new pages to meet their goals. As the project manager, I was the connection between our UI designer and Indeed’s web experience manager, facilitating the process to deliver mocks, ensuring the project was seamless and met in a timely manner. As the UX writer, I provided quick turnaround copy for the release of Indeed’s new Instant Match feature, the proposed site map, and navigation, and hero messaging for Indeed/hire and suggested hero copy for the new Indeed Interview feature.


OPEN IDEO’S SOCIAL IMPACT LAB

Open IDEO Social Impact Lab PDX, is an eight-week design marathon focused on making a difference in a local Portland, Oregon community through social impact design. My team was challenged to rethink “home” for transitioning foster youth and invited to co-design a new idea of "home" that’s developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and deeply connected to the community. We worked closely with Solutions PDX, Oregon Foster Youth Connection (OFY), and local foster youth to research, ideate, design, build, and test solutions that meet the needs of foster youth who are aging out of care and presented to a panel of local leaders and youth.
